Why did you choose to work with ROM initially?
We decided to choose ROM because it was one of the most complete, out of the box solutions for the scrap business. The price point was about a quarter of what custom programming an inventory system would be, and we liked the fact that it was slightly programmable. The customizable reports were the final carrot that led us to choose ROM.
Why I switched to ROM
When I met the folks from 21st Century Programming, I was immediately impressed. They had hands-on scrap experience, a strong support staff and a technical staff that was easy to work with. I was amazed at the progress their software had made and realized that, while our old software had remained stagnant, they had up-to-date solutions for our current operations.
